Do Not Judge Others For That Matter

I ended off with the Bible verse from my last post on "Do Not Judge Your Peers."

I wanted to add one more thing about judging peers or any others for that matter. This thought crossed my mind as I found myself condemning many drugged up homeless people in the core of Toronto. Many times, I think to myself how peaceful, clean and safer it would be if all these homeless people weren't around. But then I also thought to myself, if I was raised in an unstable environment possibly without a healthy family, in a dangerous neighbourhood, without proper education and financial stability, I may have ended up the same. Then I realized that instead of judging them I must be grateful for what I have and what I too often take for granted. The only reason why I am here is because of all the blessings God has granted that many others might not have and we must realize that at any point in our lives, we can lose everything especially if we don't practice gratefulness everyday. So be thankful and not judgmental. We are not better but we are lucky and blessed.

It is easy to judge others without knowing their full story and background. So I want to challenge you to think about all that you have before you begin to judge others. When you realize you have so much, you will begin to be sympathetic and loving towards others.
