(Journal) My First Experience as an ESL Tutor

Oct. 24, 2023 (SJ) marks my first day of teaching beginner-level ESL. The student was in grade 10 who had recently come to Canada and was wanting get better at English for school.

It started off with a 1 hour trial lesson over Zoom and both the student and parent wanted to get started, twice a week.

SJ’s improved a lot over the 7 months and this is still ongoing at this time of journaling.

This is another valuable experience for me and again another opportunity God has provided.
