March 12, 2024 marks my first day working as a personal trainer. Though I was not certified, the client seemed not to care so long as each session was fun and helpful.
My client is a college student whose workout goal was to improve his stamina for school. In our first session, I toured him around the gym and taught him how to use some of the machine. Then, we started our main workout with back exercises such as lat pulldown, seated row, and assisted pull-ups. He learned fast and was good with the workout and so I suggested him the 3-day split with back and shoulders the first day, chest and arms the second day, and legs the third day.
It’s now just over 2 months since he first began lessons with me and we are consistently exercising 3x a week.
This post is written purely for the purpose of recording down my PT experience as one of my accomplishments. It is also a reminder for myself that God provides what’s best for me at the right time. Praise be to God.
